This gentleman, found in the Meershaert Family album, seems to have had a good day fishing while visiting here UP North. That's quite the stringer of fish, including a decent pike, a good size bass and a POODLE? Oh wait the pooch isn't on the stringer, he's just hanging on the fisherman's coat-tails! Guess he just wanted to be in on the action too. Do you suppose this adorable little fishergirl is hoping to catch herself one of those big fishes or perhaps she's dreaming of a puppy on her line. This is the perfect time of year to get in some fishing. The bugs have all but disappeared and the sun isn't beating down on the lakes with such intense heat, so we can don our sweatshirts and get out and enjoy the cooler temps with the beginnings of fall!

Awful wet weekend here in TROLL LAND. Not even nice enought to go out and watch our 4 - 0 Gibraltar football team!! (Go Lakes) This week I caught a few bass myself but nothing like the ones in todays great picture.

Yep...they found two huge cat fish this year...in different parts of the states. This pic, I believe is of the cat fish caught down south...and the other cat fish was caught in a river up by the Niagra Falls.
