Just came in from front porch glidder trip :) Enjoying the beautiful breeze and watching distant fireworks of town about 12 miles north in Shannon, Il. They're competing with dozens of silent sparkles of the fireflys. Happy 4th.

Has 'downtown Jacobsville' had their Strawberry Festival yet. They had the best Strawberries that I can ever remember when I was a kid. Big, plump and juicy, and when you would bite into one the juice would run down your chin. Not like our strawberries here in California that are supposed to be genetically improved. Even the unripe ones taste like the red ones. In otherwords, no taste.

Hi Kevin of Lodi. Still working the night shift? Apricots coming to the end of there season? Is the fruit coming in a little later this year due to the long cold rainy season we had?

By sur5er on Monday, July 4, 2005 - 12:19 am:

Djb, Sorry to hear about your digital camera. And yes, it can be used without the CD. All the person has to do is go to the camera manufacturer's website and download the program..to either their computer or a cd or floppy disc.
Did you register the camera when you got it/write down the serial number? After filing a police report, you can always notify local pawn shops/supply them with the serial number, in case it shows up there.

Djb, Here's the link someone could use to obtain the driver for using the stolen Concord camera.
