I just noticed the "Ancestors" and "NEW ARRIVALS" page links - but if my daughter is getting married tomorrow, which page should I post it on?

Since there isn't a wedding announcement page, guess right here on the What'sUP page is the place to post!

Hi Group,
I'm thinking about honeymooning UP in Copper Country in November, any suggestions (other than relaxing and enjoying the fresh air)?
Thanks!

lp, chicago - Golf, skiing, State Park, Lift Bridge, old train trestle, 3-mine tours, Porcupine Mountains & Lake of the Clouds, many waterfalls, Copper Harbor, boat tours, fishing, hunting, hiking trails, many museums, groomed snowmobile/ATV trail with property access. Also many other sites and things to do. There is something for everyone! http://www.exploringthenorth.com/keweenaw/kewbiz.html this has quite alot to do for "UP" copper country :)

A November honeymoon would be perfect {snow permitting} for cross country skiiing/snow-shoeing and then cuddling by a warm fire - there are many places which have fireplaces in the cabins. And there's nothing like a good November storm on Superior - maybe you could be lucky enough to catch one - go down to the Eagle Harbor lighthouse and watch the storm from there {bundle up!}

One warning though lp in Chicago........a lot of places (resturants, etc.) will be closed. If you want something romantic though hit the Laurium Manor Inn B&B (they have a website). We spent 3 nights there when we were on a motorcycle trip and fell in love with the place. Get a room with a fireplace and you can spend the night by the fire.........Great way to get a new marriage started. You will not be disappointed.

Another romantic place to stay is the Sand Hills Lighthouse Inn in Ahmeek. If you enjoy lighthouses you will find this one to be very unique, not to mention that the gourmet breakfast will be very memorable.
