My prayers are also with you, Sharon. We've all gotten to know each other so well on pasty cam and are genuinely concerned for each other.

Marsha, how true. The almost 2 years I've been on pasty cam, I ve come to know people's personalities and attitudes. My prayers are with Sharon and dear Fran. These two ladies encouraged me when I first started to contact this sight. I giggle at Yoopers carcatures, Mr.. Bill's view of the water activities, Margarette's(sorry sp.) view from Texas. Etc., etc. You all make my days so enjoyable. Have a good weekend all.

Yesterday a student in my school had on a big sweatshirt w/ Mackinac Island across the front. I said, "Oh, wow, have you been to Mackinac Island?" She looked at me kind of funny and said, "No." Oh, well............

Scary stuff w/ Sharon. My mother had a similar scare in March but all was well. What a relief! I hope for the same for Sharon!

I just saw in todays' Daily Mining Gazette that Herman "Winks" Gundlach has passed away. He has given so much back to the community he lived in. May he rest in peace.

we all hope you get home soon!

My prayers are with Sharon too. So much bad news.
On the night before my husbands funeral I came home and our "adopted" daughter's grandbaby Bailey 1yr had been attacked by a Sharpei(sp) in Fla and she was in the hospital. Her under chin area had beeen shredded to the ear area plus other facial bites. Shawn was so upset as she and her family had come to be with us.I told her we would be o.k.but she needed to go to her "baby" The surgery was successful and she won't be horribly scarred.

Miss Katie,you are so sweet! It warmed my heart to get all of the kind notes and e-mails from all of you.You will never know how much they meant to me.

A special thanks to my "adopted" son Alex his wife Cindy and son Josh. They came to be with our family and it really helped for us all to be together.

It is rough but we will make it. My daughter and family are helping us and also my friends and neighbors.Keep us all in your prayers, Love to all,Fran

Sharon, I try to read your journal entry every day, but didn't get a chance to read the last two entries until this evening. My heart is breaking for you b/c I know how much you wanted to go home. We love your home area, too, and are so grateful to you for keeping up the camera and the journal. Our prayers are with you.

Sharon! I am SO sorry to read of what's happening with you. As Fran said above, it's been an unreal week with all that has happened, and she didn't even say half of it... Yes, there was MORE!
