Well I managed to make it to another year older yesterday, now all I have to do is get through tomorrows surgery, here goes nothin!

Good Afternoon, from back in mid-Michigan, after several days in Copper Country! Happy Belated Birthday, U.C., & sending you Best Wishes on your surgery and recuperation!

We stopped at the art fair in Eagle Harbor and the art fair/farmers' market in Lake Linden yesterday, "on the way home" from Houghton. We especially enjoyed the one in Lake Linden, where we bought six pints of fresh wild blueberries to freeze for muffins, pancakes, coffee cakes, etc. I've been trying to find wild blueberries here with no luck the last several years, so I was really happy to finally find some! We got home last night.

Happy Belated Birthday, Uncle Chuck and good luck for tomorrow's procedure...you'll be in our thoughts and prayers.

Happy B'day UC. Sorry, haven't been able to get on pasty in the last week. Hope you had a great day. The best of us were born in August, weren't we? Good luck tomorrow!! Will say a few extra prayers for you:)

Geez, Capt., even from Ottawa you snag the bird, lol!! Enjoyed out evening out. Hope you made it back safely to Texas. We made it safely back home to MN. Could have stood another week UP there, though. Oh well, October will soon be upon us.
