Brrr!!! Cold this morning! Have a great weekend, everybody!
First Post

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Friday, April 22, 2011 - 07:59 am:

Oh, and where is Maple Grove??

Isn't that where you find the Little House on the Prairie?

By Marianne Y (Marianne) on Friday, April 22, 2011 - 07:59 am:

Good Morning. That would be Orange Crush.
Second Post
Thanks for that correction

By RD, Iowa (Rdiowa) on Friday, April 22, 2011 - 08:12 am:

Wait a minute. Little House was at Walnut Grove, not Maple Grove.

...and thank you for THAT correction, too.

By Janie T. (Bobbysgirl) on Friday, April 22, 2011 - 08:13 am:

lol! Little House on the Prairie was in Walnut Grove, sister city to Maple Grove.

Almost a tie for the IRD

By Janie T. (Bobbysgirl) on Friday, April 22, 2011 - 08:17 am:

The "ird" it really is a Good Friday!

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Friday, April 22, 2011 - 08:17 am:

LOL at the orange cruch. My great-grandmother used to say crush that way and I guess I still think about that, lol. Only she used to call it "George Cruch". She was VERY French!!! Could barely speak English. Funny stuff!

And I still don't know where Maple Grove is, even after all the posts. I know we have a Maple Grove out here, and was wondering about that one.

By Capt. Paul (Eclogite) on Friday, April 22, 2011 - 08:18 am:

It must be Good Friday; everyone gets a piece of the Bird today.....

By Capt. Paul (Eclogite) on Friday, April 22, 2011 - 08:23 am:

Is that not the Town Hall along US 45 between Bruce Crossing and Watersmeet??

Yes, that be the one.

I believe there was also a "Maple Grove" in Greenland Township in Ontonagon County as well.

By Alex "UP-Goldwinger" (Alex) on Friday, April 22, 2011 - 09:06 am:

Okay...now I'm confused. Was someone seen walking in France with an orange crutch, somewhere between Walnut Grove and Maple Grove and then entered a little house on Friday?

By DEAN SCHWARTZ SR. (Lulu) on Friday, April 22, 2011 - 11:54 am:

I just logged on to the Pasty-Cam, What's UP. And I'am totaly confused about the subject matter. Any way My brother and I will be heading to the Copper Country tommorrow for our cousins memorial service. I was just womdering about the weather and road condition's. Any help would be grateful.

By Marianne Y (Marianne) on Friday, April 22, 2011 - 03:02 pm:

Dean, I don't know which way you're planning to come from. The following web site is only supposed to be updated until the end of March, but the following was updated April 17, so you may find an update here if there are wintry conditions:
http://www.michtip.state.mi.us/rw/Conditions.aspx?ref=8

That being said, the weather tomorrow is supposed to be rainy mixed with snow, up to about an inch. It won't be a pretty day for travel.

I'm sorry for your loss.
