Before it gets too late, I have to say congrats to personal friend Kim Cameron and the Lady Huskies Basketball team for advancing to the NCAA D2 championship game last night with a win over NW Missouri State, 89-78. The Lady Huskies will play Clayton State tomorrow night at 8 PM EDT and the game will be nationally televised on ESPN2. Even though I'm not a huge fan of basketball and it will surely cut into my NCAA hockey watching plans, I will definitely watch as the Huskies attempt to make history!!

Anyone know why that "historical" old house is historical? It sure is a beauty. And the moonlit lake is just lovely and dramatic.

Capt, I just went to a pottery workshop there a few weeks ago. If you love pottery, it is a magical place. The building on Jefferson is really beautiful, and you can learn a lot about the history, too. I know that Detroit has a really bad name, but some real gems still exist there. If you ever want to stop there, don't hestitate. There is always a security guard at the door to let you in and watch you get in your car. I feel safer there than I do in the suburbs shopping mall parking lots.
