If you're wondering where to buy your pumpkin this year, Stacey Corrigan and kids have a suggestion for you to check out....Somero's Farm in Dollar Bay. Both Alli and Troy had a fun time there with Mom, Stacey and it wasn't only the fun of picking out their very own pumpkin for carving, but the Somero Farm also features a 4 acre Corn Maze this year, that is fun for kids of all ages. In Stacey's last photo, you can see Alli, running through a portion of the maze, caught in the sun's rays.

For more information about the fun to be had at the Somero Farm for the Halloween season, click here: Somero's Farm on TV6

Special message to Daddy, Tim Corrigan, who's serving over in Afghanistan right now, from Troy and Alli (and their Mommy, Stacey, too): Hugs and kisses, we love and miss you!

Aahhh, those are cute pictures! It would be nice to get another picture, with the kids much closer to the wagon & pumpkins, so you could get a closeup picture of the kids for their dad and you all for the future. (We have a summer closeup picture of my sons when they were a little bit older than, in front of an old wagon that was used as a planter, that picture is one we will always treasure.)

To Tim Corrigan, thank you for your service! And to Stacey, Troy, and Ali, thank you, for supporting him! Hugs to you all!

Ah, another reason fall is my favorite season is going to the nearest local farm to pick out your pumpkins for Halloween. Both of my sons would try to find their perfect pumpkin that would create that scary face that they wanted to create. My oldest, a Tech graduate, took the longest, because it had to be just the right size etc. The youngest didn't care about the shape as long as it was big. Thank you for sharing your family outing with me; it brought back wonderful memories of mine and my children's youth.

Stacey, my sons and I, too, have experienced military deployment and it is outings like this that they seem to remember later in life. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

WOW! Love the photos today because I LOVE pumpkins...for decorating as well as eating those delicious home-made pies! Nummy!! Ashamed to say it, considering my age, but last Autumn was the very first time I've made pies from the little pie-pumpkins, and they were outstanding...plan to do the same this year. :9
