Ketchup or catsup?

I can't find it in any store now, but I could swear when I was growing up, "Catsup" was on the bottle of the red stuff some people put on pasty and french fries. They laugh at me in Louisiana when I say catsup and don't believe there is/was such a thing. Does anyone else remember it?
