Morning! 36* here in rural Cedar Rapids, Ia. We have frost on our pumpkins. Our Falltime color show will be starting soon.

I am telling ya! looking at the fall color pictures made me take out my photo albums and just look at them. Lots of great memories and pictures. I really do think my fall color and my winter pictures are my favorites. I have lots of movies, too. I have to get them put on dvd's soon. When we would visit my mom in Lake Linden, we would go up to Copper Harbor and all over the place taking movies and go back to the house and watch them with my mom. Her health prevented her from going with us. She had fun watching them. She always wanted to see the church the monks built and she got to see it through the movies. I miss my mom.

Floating
Waiting
Held by the Tension
The two leaves were equal
but of different colors
Soon one
then the other
Will be Gone

I wanted to repost this beautiful poem from a previous post. I was looking at past fall pics and this jumped out at me.

Good Morning from Florida where the weather is cooling down, and I am looking forward to the sunset tonight at 7:14 pm.

No, not my poem. I wish I could write. I found it on a "whats up page" , I think, from Grimace posted on Monday November 1 2004

This for Tom D. and Mary K. Class of 1960. My class too. Theresa (Pini) Barnes. I remember our Jr. Play. The Ink Spot. I played a person just staring out in space trying to figure out the ink spot. Some told my folks it suited me.???? We live in Colorado.
