I was beginning to wonder if our 10+ year record of a picture-a-day would continue. Down to the last hour, here is today's Pasty Cam and this week's Pasty Cameo.

There have been some changes at the Cemetery between Eagle River and Phoenix. We will miss the familiar "flat arch" that stood as a gateway to this quiet spot since the early 1900's. But there's a nice new white picket fence, and the grounds have been kept up well this summer. Hear the rest of the story in the Cameo, which came by way of some technical difficulties today.

Have a good week :o)

...in answer to the Early Bird question - the year "Evergreen" got its name, 20 years after the first occupants moved in.

Normally the E.B. is awarded on the What'sUP page, but this has been a strange day anyway.

No matter the day, I always enjoy seeing pictures of cemeteries, both old and new. Thanks! Now it's time to go watch the cameo.
