Very artistic. I'm assuming that is a fireworks display of some kind.

I might have missed something, but for you people who get the Lake Superior magazine, did any of you notice that the 1st place winning picture for Lake/Landscapes was of the "Quincy Smelter with Northern Lights" in Hancock? What an honor that is. It was taken by a guy from Florida, and I don't mean location, lol. If you have the magazine, make sure you look. If somebody else has already mentioned this, since this was a topic the other day, forgive me.

I would love to see that.

Quiet out there on the big lake tonight. Hardly a breath of wind
and so much ice out there that the sound of living water is
almost completely muffled in the falling snow. You can just hear
a hint of lakesound, way out there, distant. Good night all.
