Good morning to all!

By Cindy Pihlaja Russell (Gone2long) on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 - 08:58 am:

I posted this on Tuesday's page before Wednesday came up, but it certainly "bears" repeating:

Deb and Mr. Deb are on their way to their son Ryan's cardiac catheterization today. Deb asked that you please keep them in your thoughts and prayers today. I can't imagine there is anything more difficult than seeing our babies, no matter what age, in the hospital with tubes and wires and questions. Send lots of good, positive thoughts their way

By Janet Boatman (Janetnwohio) on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 - 09:03 am:

Cindy I was going to say the same thing you just said and you did a much better job than I would have said. Prayers are going their way.

By JH (Thumbgardener) on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 - 09:06 am:

Good morning everyone. Fog has finally lifted here in the thumb.

I will be praying that all goes well for your son today, Deb.

By maija in Commerce Township (Maija) on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 - 09:13 am:

All best wishes for Ryan.

By Lorelei (Lorelei) on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 - 09:21 am:

Deb S & Mr Deb,
You can count on my prayers. Please let us know what the outcome is, I am sure it will be just fine.

Still really foggy here by the airport. I would imagine the planes are grounded this morning.

By Marianne Y (Marianne) on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 - 09:33 am:

Good Morning, Everyone, from mid-Michigan. It will be a warm one here today, but I am not complaining. Our warm days are numbered now, and they will all-to-soon be followed by the cold weather. This year, the cold weather may well be worse for me, with my fractured back problem.

I love fall, as long as the pretty colored leaves are still on the trees! It is time to begin enjoying the fruits of the autumn harvest!

We had a great summer, weather-wise. It never got ridiculously hot, like it has in some past years here in mid-Michigan.

By Marianne Y (Marianne) on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 - 09:36 am:

Deb, Mr Deb, and Ryan - as I have mentioned in email messages to you all, my thoughts and prayers are with you for the best possible outcome!

Take care, Marianne

Deb, Ron and Ryan, The three of you have been in my thoughts and prayers all day. I'm hoping that by now, Ryan is resting comfortably and everything is repaired and A-OK. And for Deb and Ron, I'm hoping a good nights sleep, after a grueling day. Let us know how things went as soon as you can.

How's he doing Deb?

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 - 10:58 pm:

Thank all you people who said prayers and kept us in your thoughts today. Well, unfortunately, we had the worst possible outcome. Ryan will need open heart surgery to replace his sticky and leaky aortic valve. The surgeons will get together and discuss all other options, but they're pretty sure that it's bad enough to have to have this done to it. So, they will contact us at the end of the month and then we'll go from there as to when we (mostly Ryan) will choose to have it done. It's really a bummer but he's being so brave about it and we know we have all of you wonderful people out there praying for a great outcome. Thank you all so much. (((HUGS))) to each and every one of you. Special thanks to Liz from Idaho for actually callrf us at the hospital to find out how we were doing. Love ya, Liz!!!

By JH (Thumbgardener) on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 - 11:36 pm:

Deb, so sorry it wasn't the outcome we had all hoped and prayed for. Everyone will be hoping and praying for a for a successful surgery when it does take place.

By Richard Wieber (Dickingrayling) on Thursday, September 6, 2007 - 01:21 am:

Deb and Mr. Deb Sorry your news wasn't as good as you had hoped, but he HAS another choice to fix his problem. Many folks don't get a second choice. Besides, these Pasty Cammers seem to have a lot of pull with the Man upstairs so your son is in good hands. Hang tough.
