Great fireworks picture.

Good morning everybody! Have a great day!

I happened to go outside and noticed an interesting ship moored
across the canal from me. I thought it looked a bit familiar, and
found the article in the Gazette at ...
Replica of Historic Ship Coming.

How cool is it to live in the U.P.?

The fireworks in Copper Harbor last night were FANTASTIC! We were sitting on the dock at the Harbor House and you could see them reflect off the lake as well- good time. Never saw so many cars on 41 goin home at one time afterward, looked like a train leaving Copper Harbor.

Can you imagine sailing across the Atlantic Ocean in that? And not having a clue where you are going? Yikes!!

Good Morning!

I visited the Mayflower replica at Plymouth Mass. a few years back. Its very small, especially on the inside. It is a truly amazing feat to have sailed in those ships...and to make it in one piece and alive :)

I am leaving today for my CC trip...should be there this afternoon sometime :)
truly excited..and now I can view the Nina ..plus pasty time...
btw..where is the Hut restaurant ?

Hey David, You can learn everything you've always wanted to know about the Hut (including where it is and even an online menu so you can decide what you want before you get there), on this link here: The Hut Inn. Drive safely!

Good afternoon from Mishawaka, IN.

6 days and we leave for the UP. I can hardly wait to be on the road. So many places to see, so little time.

By Brooke (Lovethekeweenaw) on Thursday, July 5, 2007 - 01:10 pm:

Hello all, hope everyone had a safe 4th.

By kosk in Toronto (Koskintoronto) on Thursday, July 5, 2007 - 04:37 pm:

Yup, the Nina was docked in Marquette while we were UP last
weekend. A couple of years ago there was a ship from the War of
1812 moored in the same spot.
