Be sure to follow the weekly link above the picture from 8 years ago. It was an interesting angle which Jonathan found on the MTU campus.

Now let's see who gets the latest 'early bird' to date...

Good evening everybody!

Mary says: Deb wished for a bat, a few posts down, because of the "late" early bird, so here you go Deb...Congratulations!!
Batty!

I guess you got the "late bird" Deb, congrats!

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Sunday, March 18, 2007 - 09:53 pm:

Since it's so late, I think I should get a bat rather than a cute little blue bird. LOL

By Marianne Y (Marianne) on Sunday, March 18, 2007 - 10:17 pm:

Congratulations on your late bird, Deb! I would rather have a cute little blue bird, myself--too many bats carry rabies now adays.

I hope you all enjoyed our nice weekend weather. And, now the snow sets in. Ours will change to rain mid-day tomorrow here in mid-Michigan. Aahhh, the wonders of spring. At least our students had good weather to head back to school after spring break in!

(By the way, another mom on the MTU parent list just mentioned that her son hit a baby dear near the Mighty Mac bridge, on his way home for a weekend, about 3 weeks ago. That baby deer did substantial damage to his car. I think we are beginning to see a trend here. We all might want to watch out for wildlife on the highways now, at least for a while.)

Another moving traffic hazzard which seems to be in abundance these days are skunks.

By Danbury (Danbury) on Monday, March 19, 2007 - 06:39 am:

The only traffic hazard bigger than a car is a truck! :)

By Danbury (Danbury) on Monday, March 19, 2007 - 06:41 am:

As to the bat: Lol!

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Monday, March 19, 2007 - 08:18 am:

Thanks, Mary! I love it!
