We’re taking another Fall Chair Lift ride today, this time in the Porkies, with Michelle Lutke Biggers and her hubby, Brett. She said they caught one of the last rides there of the season and it was spectacular. I’d have to agree wholeheartedly. Michelle and Brett do this chair lift ride every fall as the views are amazing. You can’t beat the beautiful colors mixed in with the gorgeous blues of Lake Superior once your reach the top of the Porcupine Mountains Ski Complex. Michelle complimented the employees there at the Porcupine Mountains, saying they are some of the nicest people they have met. Folks that truly care about and love where they work and it shows. So knowledgeable and they just want everyone to enjoy their time at the park. They slow the chair lift down for people that may have issues getting on and off, you just have to let them know if that’s needed, so the experience is truly for just about anyone and you can feel safe and comfortable enjoying the adventure. Today’s video is a beautiful hike along the Little Carp River in the Porcupine Mountains that Michelle and Brett took recently. Leaves blanketing the ground, river sounds, walking on the boardwalks, just a wonderful Autumn adventure. Sit back and experience Fall in the Porkies!

& reds set against Superior blue sky & water.
Really enjoyed Michelle’s Little Carp River hike
video too. Nice to get all the beautiful autumn
views, from above and then at ground level.

for views like that.

I enjoyed the video; it made me feel like I was taking
the walk. Those were skinny little boardwalks.

Wow! Last year we went to the Porkies for the chair
lift rides but the color wasn't nearly as
spectacular. Wish I'd have gone there this year.
Absolutely great pictures. It seems I pretty much
got the same ones last year without the color. Glad
I got to see it through your lens. Thanks for

From what I can tell with everyone’s photos,
it has been an outstanding Fall Color season
all across the UP! We were completely blown
away with the beauty surrounding us when we
visited earlier this month. We are finally getting
some decent color here in northern Indiana,
but certainly nothing like it was UP there!
