We’ve been lucky this year, as Fall has really been hanging on here in the Keweenaw. NOTE: The peak color has passed for the most part, but depending where you are in the U.P., you’ll find some color here and there. We’re going to just continue enjoying the Fall colors for a while longer here on the Pasty Cam. I’m guessing you won’t mind.

Deb Simons and her hubby, Ron, took advantage of the Fall colors hanging on this year and went to chase more color. She said they usually go to Mt. Bohemia or the Porkies for their Chair Lift rides, but this year the color here in the Keweenaw was so amazing that they stuck closer to home and enjoyed the scenery from Mont Ripley’s Chair lift rides. Even though Deb’s photos are stunning, she feels the pictures don’t do the scenes justice. But she added that it was just another day in paradise!

In The Keweenaw was flying their drone around Mont Ripley checking out the color a few weeks ago. The colors were quite vivid that day. Too bad it wasn’t when Deb and Ron were on the Chair Lift ride, we could have waved to them!

Pure UP awesomeness! Looks like another
amazing fall day for you guys, thanks for
sharing your chair lift adventure with us :)

Hi
It's great that Deb & her husband have a chairlift ride
close to home. I went for a walk in the woods last
Saturday near Jackson but didn't see as much color as
I'd hoped.

Sweet pics, Deb & Ron!
That must have been a
pleasant sight in person.
And you captured some
good UP Blue, too.
Good for you!

Pure Michigan! The Yoop was voted the number 1
place to see colors this year! As it should be!!

Yesterday was Mary Drew's Pastyversary!

Beautiful shots Deb.

I really enjoy all the various webcams but I simply do not understand how the City of Houghton has allowed the wooden dock at the East Houghton Waterfront Park to remain in such disrepair for 1-1/2 YEARS. No one respects the barriers. The barriers first went up in May of 2025. Since then, there has been addition demolition but NO renovation. WHY? I am seriously considering making it my mission to find out.

DOCK

In the second picture, in case you didn't notice,
there are people hiking up the mountain. You
wouldn't believe how many people actually do that.
My hubby said he was going to start that. Yup. He
hasn't yet, lol.

Also Mary, this video is actually taken the day we
were up there. We saw no drone.
