There was a car show in Munising recently, complete with a parade through the town. Kevin Dunham was on hand and snapped a few panning shots of the vintage and classic vehicles as they drove by. There sure are a few beauties in the line-up and I figured any car buffs would enjoy checking them out like I did. My favorite is the third photo, the Studemino Street Rod... Google couldn’t identify the exact year, but said it was a 1950 or 1951 and that it is a combination of the Chevrolet El Camino, with the front end of a Studebaker. How fun is that? Which one is your favorite?

We’re taking a drive with In The Keweenaw along US41 through Michigan Tech campus in Houghton and then on to Hancock. This was recorded about 10 days ago, so I’m sure the colors have burst out more now.

I'm not too into old cars and trucks, but I love
that red truck. Those I think are so cool. And
sometimes when I see an old model T driving down
the road all spruced up, I can't help but look and
admire. Nice pictures, Kevin.

I've never seen anything like that Studemino, I
looked, and:

A Studemino is/was a 1978 to 1987 Chevrolet El
Camino with the bullet nose of a 1950-51 Studebaker
grated on to it. The obvious question is “why”, and
the company that provided fiberglass kits for these
transformations seems to be no more.

Interesting, these are awesome pics Kevin!

Love car shows! It's been a big factor as to why
Bob has been my one and only for 51 years as it is
one of our common bonds we share and own classic
cars. We currently show 5 of them. Our 1968 Mercury
Cyclone GT is documented as a one-of-one car.

Thankyou Kevin, these are great pictures of some
great classics! Meant to type that in my above
comment but my 10month old Siamese kitten stepped
on the keyboard and sent it...silly Greta!

Some nice rides there in Munising!
That Studemino is pretty crazy, I kinda
like the 69 Dodge Super Bee. Great pics
Kevin, thanks for sharing.

I'm sure if we still lived UP there, we'd have our 68 Roadrunner to a few shows. That Super Bee looks like a 69 1/2 A-12 with a factory 440 Six Pack. Very quick cars...
