That was my third time camping at the Falls, and I
must say, the improvements that they have made to
accommodate EVERYONE are just fantastic. Of
course, the Falls and the overall scenery are
always great, but so are the campgrounds. The
Upper Falls also has a really good restaurant and
brewery and full bar, and the food was excellent!!
Lower Falls still has the gift shop & cafe. What
really stuck out to me are the nice, paved
walkways and they have eliminated a lot of the
stairs.
The highlight for me was, just west of there and
north, was the 19-mile dirt road that takes you to
Lake Superior and to, Crisp Point & Lighthouse.
That jaunt through the woods on a perfect dirt
road for any type of vehicle, car, truck, ATV etc.
was well worth it when you get to the Lighthouse
and look at that beautiful structure and the
beauty of the big lake and surrounding area!! I
could have spent all day out there!! How smooth
was the dirt road you ask... a two-seater Mercedes
Benz flew by me going in when we were coming back
out, all I could do was laugh. Go check it out
Pasty Fam, especially if you haven't been there in
years!!
Thanks Mary, for posting our trip!! :-))

So great to see you Uncle Chuck and Vickie & Whitaker. It's been 50 years since I've been to The Falls. I remember a lot of rock climbing. Nice to see they've opened up access.
I wonder if the restaurant is the same one Alexis Dahl, in her nice video, had the fresh Whitefish.
Crisp Point? Are we to expect the next chapter soon?
