The lanterns would help other boaters see them, but I
wouldn't guess that they give enough light to help
see where you're going.
Interesting watercraft in the video. I'd love to have
a lightweight easy-to-carry kayak, but I wonder how
well it works in the wind. We had a styrofoam hulled
sailboat that we brought up from downstate. But the
centerboard was not enough to stop the wind from
pushing the lightweight boat sideways.
I like the electric pontoon boat. Probably much
easier to start than an old outboard motor, which was
started by pulling on the cord. One reason I switched
to my electric lawnmower was because I don't need a
pull-cord to start it.
