Fresh Coast Classic Car Club held a classic car & motorcycle show during Bridgefest recently, on Quincy Street in Hancock. I couldn’t find a count for how many cars and motorcycles there were on display, but from all the photos the club has shared, it looks like there were quite a few lining both sides of the street. My favorite from these photos, is #6, the 1955 Buick Special. I absolutely love the paint job on that classic beauty!

Meanwhile, MI Playground was taking part in “Bronco the Mac” in St. Ignace with a full schedule of events, including: Crossing the Mackinac Bridge, a drone show, a visit to Tahquemenon Falls, Fireworx Bar and a Sunset Parade. The lead-in to the video says: “We are in St. Ignace for the Bronco the Mac weekend, one of the great annual events in St. Ignace. Bronco the Mac includes a Mackinac Bridge crossing, parade, drone show and more!”

Some really nice examples of classic show cars! Bob
& I do car shows with our 5 show cars. Trophies are
nice, but the fellowship among car show car owners
is the best!!

I'm not into classic cars at all. I don't know why,
but nothing about them interests me. I see old
family pictures and see some of these cars. Weird
how some people just love things and others don't.
I guess that's what makes the world go around. None
of us are the same.

Certainly would have participated with our 68 Roadrunner had we still lived there...

Cool stuff...I was just checking out different
pics..then I got to winter, so I quit for now, but
when it's h%ll this weekend...I will enjoy them!!

Deb, same here. Never been a big car gal, but I do
enjoy my little Hybrid.
However, plenty of people certainly have a blast with
their vehicles! Fun video from MI Playground, was
not aware of the “Bronco the Mac” event. Seems like
the Labor Day Bridge Walk gets most of the attention.

Hi
Debs and Cindy, I feel the same. My late brother loved
them, though.

Cindy, I think there are various special crossings of
the bridge throughout the summer. There is one with
bicycles (DALMAC) that I think is around Labor Day, and
also an event where people swim across.

Capt. Paul, hope you don't feel outnumbered. I imagine
rust is less of an issue for cars where you are.
