Jeff Dennis, Chris and Fritz headed to the Lily Pond, outside of Hancock, with their kayaks. They were there to watch as the luxury liner Victory II passed by on their way to Lake Superior, after the cruise ship made a stop in Houghton on Wednesday last week. They were headed to Duluth and Thunder Bay, Ontario next and are scheduled to return to Houghton later this summer. I think perhaps Fritz was asking Jeff if they could get a big boat like that, dreaming of cruising in style. Then in the fourth photo, it looks like Fritz is enjoying a short swim to the boat landing on shore, either that or Jeff ran out of power and Fritz had to tow him to shore.

The bottom photo was back at the Dennis camp in Little Traverse, where his “game camera” captured a red fox sneaking by on the shore. Jeff sure gets a variety of critters on the Lake Superior shoreline with his camera.

Today’s video was recorded between Little Traverse and Rabbit Bay in Lake Superior. Jeff has named these falls the ‘Breakfast Bacon Falls’. Perhaps both Jeff and Fritz were hungry on this paddle and the sandstone cliff had them dreaming about bacon for breakfast!

I can certainly see the inspiration for giving that name to the falls. The layered rocks, the streaks of water, it all makes sense.

I loved these pictures the first time i saw them
and I love them now. They are so good. Some would
look wonderful on a canvas. Fritz is a lucky dog.

Fritz has surely earned a cruise!!! Boy would he
look good directing that ship! lol

I love all the critters Jeff gets out there. That
is just so wonderful~

Beautiful pictures!!

Really enjoy the adventures of Jeff, Fritz and family!
Such a beautiful set, love the Red Fox and the Bacon
cliffs at Superior’s shore around the Waterfall.

But my favorite has to be pic #2, with Fritz all smiles
seemingly saying “we need to get us one of those”
lol! Just too cute ;)

And Fritz looks pretty good in green, too!
Great pics today.

Hi
I'm not sure if this will be a duplicate post but...

I think Charlie should've photoshopped in some black
bears and seagulls chowing on that big slab of bacon.

Hi Again
Looks like my other post got lost. So, some other
comments:

The way Fritz decided to swim for shore makes me
wonder if he just puts up with kayaking for the sake
of being with his person.

Those of you who live up there sure have wonderful
scenery.
