Calumet Lake is located in the Calumet Lions Club Park, along with walking trails and a disc golf course, too. Judy Byykkonen enjoys taking her pups there for some exercise and the bonus is that some days you get to see wildlife there, like these Trumpeter Swans, Canada Geese and Seagulls, too. I’m betting her four-legged friends are mesmerized by these honking birds, too. This park is located within walking distance from downtown Calumet.
I love hearing the Geese honking away in Judy’s video. At least I think that’s the geese, but the Trumpeter swan call sounds similar. I chose the geese, because during the video when the honking was happening, the two swans had their heads in the water!
