Donna MacIntosh is always on the lookout for good photos to share, along with videos, too. So when her brother, Mike MacIntosh sent her today’s shots, she checked with him to see if we could share them with all of you. That first photo is a beauty, with the sun rising in the morning sky, making the branches of that tree shine with the frozen rain on them, outstanding! Mike’s next two shots are frigid with ice coating the branches and limbs of the trees, also, especially that pine tree in the second photo... it’s poor branches are hanging down with the weight of that freezing rain.

That’s Mike’s snowblower in the bottom photo... a throwback to the big storm we had the end of March, Escanaba really got hit hard in that one. Check it out, the snow bank he’s trying to get through is higher than his snowblower itself. That was certainly a storm we won’t soon forget.

If like me, you’re getting tired of snow, snow and more snow, you should enjoy today’s video then. It’s from Wild 906 with a compilation of their favorite trail cam clips from September thru November 2024, all recorded right here in the Upper Peninsula. You’ll see wolves, bears, whitetail deer, racoons, and more, not to mention plenty of green grass and leaves!

Hi
The video was really interesting. I'd never seen a
fisher before. I saw it sniffing the tree that earlier
squirrels had run up and down. I wonder why the wolf
that was caught on camera was alone.

My Bro took some awesome pics indeed~ The
snowblower, is cleaning his driveway...(good thing
he has a garage!) I will never understand how that
massive storm missed us and the Keweenaw. Escanaba
is the Banana Belt, but not that time!!

I love the vid..I love critters. Wild and free...
