When it comes to outdoor fun, Beth Jukuri knows how to do it, even on cold, windy (Spring) days. On this day recently, Beth and her granddaughter decided to have a beach day. She said they spent a couple hours playing at McLain State Park, because her granddaughter wanted to go see the ice by Lake Superior...and it was CHILLY! Beth said McLain’s seems to be an all season park! Her granddaughter could have spent many hours there, exploring, gathering rocks to toss on the ice, climbing her favorite tree, and swinging, but Beth was getting chilled, so they called it quits after two hours.

Nice pictures. Good for you, Beth. I'd never have lasted that long. Every day the wind is crazy and makes it feel so cold. You have SISU young lady. Your granddaughter is a lucky little girl.

Beth gets huge AWESOME GRANDMA points...You are a SHEro!
Love the video...I worked at CCCMH a long time ago, and that was my most favorite job of all.
Chad is an outstanding young man. The Clubhouse is lucky to have him! And we are lucky to have the Clubhouse...that was needed in our community!
Hi There's nothing like wind off the ice, and ice-cold water, to chill a person. So 2 hours was a good effort, Beth.
Kudos to the community mental health center; it looks like people were being helped and had a safe space.
