The Valley Sno Drifters Club held their 1st Annual Vintage Snowmobile ride recently, starting out at the Maple Leaf Legion in Lake Linden and riding to Dreamland Restaurant & Bar. It was a great success. I was lucky enough to be out for a walk with my neighbor and captured some of the vintage machines crossing the Rice Lake Road from the trail. There were young riders, along with the adult riders, too.
The last three photos were supplied to us by Dreamland Restaurant & Bar. The two aerial shots were captured by Brad DeForge. The first one at John Loukus’ shop in Bootjack and the bottom photo in the Dreamland parking lot. The sixth photo was also in Dreamland’s parking lot, showing the number of vintage machines that made the ride. I don’t have a final number, but feel free to count them in the photos.
It was fun to watch them crossing the Rice Lake Road, so many different older models. All still running and helping to create fun for all the riders. A number of them waved hello to us watching and they all looked to be enjoying the ride, too!

I'm not much into snowmobiles, but this is quite
the pack. Very cool.
