Stacey Flood captured a couple shots of Eagle Harbor’s four-legged residents. Those deer seem to be enjoying the shoreline around Eagle Harbor, with the one in the second photo either posing for Stacey or wondering what she’s UP to there. Then she snapped a different angle of the Eagle Harbor Lighthouse, tucked away across the frozen Harbor. It’s so nice to see the sunshine and the blue skies. Things are beginning to melt each day when the sun is glowing and the temperatures are getting a bit warmer. I know it’s Spring on the calendar, but Keweenaw Spring is always a little later than the calendar says. I hope it’s just around the corner.

The video today, is a clever black Squirrel that we had at our bird feeders recently. He would hang down, grab the “milk jug” feeder to himself, grab some seeds and then go back up on the branch to open and eat the sunflower seeds. Now that’s animal ingenuity... where there’s a will, there’s a way!

What glorious photos....I love the second pic of
that deer!! And the blue in the sky is just
phenomenal!!

Yes, Spring is coming...saw all the tree trunks
starting to get rid of the snow...that's always a
good sign!

That video...those squirrels sure know how to get
to the seeds....the only way I stopped them (back
when) was by using baffles...and they worked. Then
the squirrels would lay under them for the shade~
lol

Donna's first paragraph pretty much took the words
right off the end of my fingers. I love the second
deer picture and the blue skies with the Eagle
Harbor lighthouse is stunning. I think black
squirrels are so cool looking.
