In mid-March, Michelle Lutke and Brett Biggers, along with their rescue dog, Sisu, went on adventure to O-Kun-de-Kun Falls in Ontonagon County, near Bruce Crossing, to check what was happening there. She said it is one of her all time favorites any time of the year, but especially in the winter. Her reason for saying that is because it doesn’t matter how many times they go there; it’s a different experience every time. The ice they saw there was some of the coolest ice she’s seen there so far. It actually reminds me of plastic icicles that folks hang on their Christmas trees and other ornaments. You can see more of Michelle and Brett’s photography here: Wandering Michigan
Michelle’s video today is from a different falls though... this one is in the Western U.P, near Ironwood. Superior Falls looks to be running quite nicely already.

Hi
Beautifully composed shots, especially "Icicles and
Splashes".
I remember a Yooper friend who optimistically named his
dog Sisu. But she did not live up to the name; if there
is a Finnish term for "cautious", that would have been
more apt.
