When it comes to the outdoors for Beth Jukuri, it doesn’t matter what the season is, she gets out there to enjoy the fresh air and often shares it with her family. Recently her daughter and little grandson joined her for a snowshoe adventure around their Chassell area. It’s always a bonus if you have places right near home to get out there in the snowy woods. I love that Beth always includes her littles and introduces a love of the outdoors to them, too. I absolutely love the photo of her daughter letting her little guy discover and explore the snow on the trees, the expression on his face is priceless. My second favorite today is the oak leaves still hanging on to the tree. I don’t know what it is about a shot like that, but it always catches my eye...like the joining of fall and winter together in one photo. If you’re able to, get out there and enjoy the fresh air and wonderment of the beauty!

Shannon over at 906 Images, gets out there to enjoy the unique beauty of the ice cliffs along the shores of Lake Superior in today’s video. Listen closely in the video and you’ll hear the crunch of his ice cleats digging into the ice as he walks along. Shannon always respects the Big Lake and the ice cliffs and doesn’t take chances, he makes sure it’s safe before he ventures out and I can vouch for the safety and sure-footedness of his ice cleats. I have steel carbide tip cleats that I wear for my daily walks and they keep me from falling, slipping or sliding every day. It may not be for everyone, but for Shannon it’s something he enjoys!

All the pics are stunning! I also love the little
dude checking out the snow on the trees!!!! The
snow covered trees in the sun also is awesome!

Loved the vid. Thankfully some of you brave souls
do get out there and take vids for those of us that
can't do it!

Gorgeous stuff!

Hi
Good to see the kid enjoying the outdoors and
getting acclimated to snow early. I love the
pictures of snowy woods in the sunshine.

Great family time, especially on one of those rare sunny days. The little one is learning how he can just float over the snow.

My Oak trees have been hanging on to more and more leaves over the many winters I've lived here. Forty years ago I estimate that kept 10% till Spring. Now it's closer to 30%. Evolution I guess.
