When it comes to wind and waves, George C. Bailey is always ready, willing and able to get out in the elements and capture Lake Superior at her finest, crashing and thrashing about on the shores of the Keweenaw Peninsula, overlooking Lake Superior near Dans Point in Eagle Harbor Township, just west of Copper Harbor. As you can tell, it’s a prime spot for wave watching and George captures them quite well.

Of course Lake Superior waves are not exclusive to the Keweenaw Peninsula as Shannon over at 906 Images shows us with a look at the Big Waves Crashing Over the Blackrocks in Marquette. Shannon captured this one from the cove there on Presque Isle.
