On a recent WIND (Women In New Directions) hike, the ladies spent some time on the Quincy Mine Shaft campus, while the sun was setting around them. They also explored the switchback trails near Mont Ripley along the hilltops, but the photo opportunities came when the sun was setting through the old mining remnants near the Quincy Mine Shaft. Beauty in history on Quincy Hill.
Visit Keweenaw shares a video short of an event that took place at the Quincy Mine back in September, called, “Music in the Mine”. Hauntingly beautiful music like you’ve never experienced, in a setting you’d never expect... in the Quincy Mine. The folks who attended stepped into a world where lights danced and music floated around them in the historic Quincy Mine Hoist House, hosted by Quincy Mine and The Rozsa Center.
