It’s a train day on the Pasty Cam, with Nancy Haun and the Canadian National. The sun’s rays are hitting the color and the 5453 as it crosses the Herman-Nestoria Road in the first photo. The second shot was taken in the Bovine Fiber yard. Nancy commented that the color this year was weird, with no big peak events, but erratic color in places. Seemed like it really peaked here in the Keweenaw toward the middle of October.
The third photo was taken in the early morning in Herman, so pretty as the train is coming around the bed with lights shining ahead of them. Then the bottom photo...pure beauty with the reflections on the Iron Range and Huron Bay Railroad grade. Just a quiet little pond with Autumn all around it.
Nancy said she just made it in time to park her car and get across the highway to catch the Canadian National crossing the bridge. Lots of train sounds, including the train horn and you can hear the water and highway sounds, too... make sure you have your volume on.

Beautiful, as always, Nancy. I especially love the 4th picture. Spectacular!

I love trains. The third picture is beautiful, with the autumn colors and the train. Doesn’t get any better than that. Thank you for sharing!
