Fritz is taking his family (Jeff & Chris Dennis and Rose) on a few Autumn adventures here on the Pasty Cam today. We start out with a photo of Jeff and Fritz enjoying the Fall colors and calm Lake Superior waters at Jacobsville. Then we paddle UP to the old railroad bridge that spans over the Sturgeon River. Next stop, Fritz poses with all the fishing boats at the Lily Pond. I wonder if he’s thinking he’d like to ride along and pull in some fish with them.
The last two photos are the Chassell Kayak launch and Rose using the Kayak launch in Marquette. Jeff said that these Kayak Launches are great and so much safer for waters with a steep drop or strong currents and he hopes to see many more of these around the area in the future. It makes getting in and out of the water and the kayak so much easier.
Our video comes from Discover the U.P., with Kristin Ojaniemi of TV6 Discovering. She shares Part 2 of her Isle Royale adventure with her Dad, along with a wolf and moose update, Laker jigging and a Historic Cabin. The lead-in says: “Episode 152 - More of our adventures on Isle Royale with U.P. Adventure Company. We do some laker jigging on a glassy Lake Superior and catch a pile of lake trout and we visit one of the historic cabins in Tobin Harbor. We had a wolf visit our campsite one morning, plus we get an update on the wolf and moose populations from Rolf and Candy Peterson who have spent 50 years on the Wolf-Moose Project, and they've discovered something new. Rolf also talks about the "problem" wolves the park is currently dealing with.”

Wow...phenomenal pics and great vid...I like the info from the Peterson's...imagine dedicating your life to wolves and moose studies. That's impressive.
LOVE Fritz's adventures. He knows how to have a great time, and he takes his humans with him. Adorable dog!

There he is, I missed the Fritz blitz a bitz! I’ve read that dogs have a limited color spectrum when compared to the human eye, but that doesn’t stop Fritz from enjoying himself. And to the Fritz Gang; “Thanks for sharing.”

What terrific pictures. I'm glad Fritz finally took his pets out for some fun. Ithought maybe they were grounded. It's been a while. We missed them.

That Fritz really gets around. I've never seen a kayak launch before. It's looks so cool (and dry).
The safe harbor, just south of Chassell is always a good place to catch some great photos, especially a fishing boat or two.
I hope everyone had a safe Halloween. Here's something that ties Halloween to the Portage Entry harbor. The last time I was there, somewhere on the North Entry Road, I spotted this house that seemed very much in the spirit, in a really big way.
That’s pumpkin pie for a year. And a lot of pumpkin seeds. When I was a kid my friends mother would spread them out on a cookie tray, put some salt on them and bake them. They were delicious!
