Stacey Flood has a most beautiful spot on the shores of Lake Superior, in the Eagle Harbor area. Her first shot is so welcoming, just like the fire-ring says, to sit there hearing the crackling of the fire, perfect! She then shares some views from their cabin. That yellow sea plane flys over our place in Lake Linden, too...you can always hear it coming and I always envy the view they have while flying low over the Keweenaw like that. It looks like Stacey’s pups enjoy the cabin time, too. I bet they do a bit of swimming there in the cove!

We have episode 150 from Discover the U.P., with a story about a young U.P. woman who is making a name for herself on the U of M Rifle Team! The lead-in to the video says: “We meet Maddy Maline, a young woman from Manistique who made the University of Michigan Rifle Team last fall and has now made the USA Randle Team, making her one of the countries’ top 10 women’s smallbore prone competitors. Maddy was also the first female Eagle Scout in the U.P.”

How gorgeous are those pics...I LOVE the fire ring!
Unreal.

And Discovering. How awesome for that young lady.
That's no "ordinary" gun either. Takes lots of ways
of holding it.

And those swans are just glorious...STOP USING LEAD
BULLETS WHILE HUNTING! Lead is poison!!
