Da Brudders Adventures were out adventuring recently at one of their favorite spots to get photographs of a variety of subjects at the Hubbell Sands. They share some interesting flower shots, some I’ve seen before and didn’t know the names of at the time, but thanks to Google “search by image”, was able to now identify. And the Cumulus Congestus Cloud formation... WOW! I wonder if it produced rain showers that day, as these types of clouds are associated with severe weather, like thunderstorms.

Da Brudders also have a message for folks that visit the sands: “With all this beauty out here, then we come across the garbage left behind by a couple locals...I say locals because no tourists know where Hubbell Sands are. Please come and pick up your mess... smh.” For those that don’t know the acronym – smh – it means ‘shaking my head’.

With all the flowers in today’s photos I was imagining the butterflies and bees that must have been flitting around them, so I figured a video on how to attract butterflies would be appropriate. The Old Farmer’s Almanac shows us how to Plant a Butterfly Garden!
