It is no secret that Judy Byykkonen loves spending time near Lake Superior and Calumet Waterworks Park (a.k.a. Bucky’s) is one of her favorite spots. When she shared today’s photos she simply titled them “Magical”, and I totally agree. Each successive shot has Superior sparkling and shimmering just a little bit more. Absolutely gorgeous and Judy captured it all perfectly.

The photos of light on the water are lovely and make
me want to get up to my cabin.

I did watch the video, since I love lake freighters.
I found the video skipped around from location to
location a bit confusingly... atleast for me.

Absolutely gorgeous! We haven't been
there at all this year because the
rocks make it hard for me to walk
still. So I sure do appreciate Judy's
pictures. We've been to Brunette and
Great Sand Bay, though. Didn't take
many pictures. Just went for a swim
and sat there enjoying life in the
Copper Country.

I always do an inward chuckle when I hear the word
Bucky's when referring to Calumet Waterworks.
Few people even have a clue as to why it is called
Bucky's, but I know because I'm 75 years young.
