We’re used to spotting the Trumpeter Swan family raising their Cygnets at the Swedetown ponds in Calumet. But this year, Debbie Jarve captured photos of a family at Calumet Lake, in the Calumet Lions Park. It looks like there are four little, fuzzy Cygnets. Let’s hope they all survive and grow up to be elegant and majestic like their parents.
Our video today from Birdfun, is a Mute Swan family with 10 Cygnets! That’s quite a family to raise, especially since they’re crossing roads, not just staying put on the lake or pond there.

Awesome! Spring and Mother Nature...it's a beautiful thing....
I love that vid with the little ones marching up the ramp. They are just adorable.

Swans are so beautiful! What great pictures! And some day I'm going to find out where Calumet Lake is.

Swan Lake for sure! And mom and dad must go through a ton of Pampers.

To this day I believe we are here on Earth to live, grow, and do what we can to make this world a better place for all people to enjoy freedom.
The good news is the swans Debbie shows are our native Trumpeter Swans. The mute swans in the vid are not native! All very cute tho.

Nature's devotional instincts, genetically encoded are astonishingly impressive.
