The Northern Lights were brightening the skies over Munising Bay last week and Kevin Dunham was on hand to capture the reflections, the hues and the starry skies. Seeing this all in Kevin’s beautiful photos makes me wonder what it would have been like to be there in person, seeing the Aurora doubled like it is in the reflection right there on the waters of Munising Bay and above it all in the night skies, too. What an absolutely mesmerizing experience that must be. Thank you to Kevin for staying up late or early in the morning to bring the Northern Lights to us on the screens of our computers, laptops and phones.

We head northwest from Munsing, to the Keweenaw and a hike on Mount Bohemia’s Cliff View Trail with MI Playground. It’s a different experience hiking it, rather than skiing or snowboarding down the runs in the winter. The lead-in says: “We are at Mt. Bohemia to hike the Cliff View Trail. This is a totally new experience for us as we have always been to Mt. Bohemia to snowboard during the winter months. This is a great hike with outstanding views of the surrounding area. Whether you have been to Mt. Bohemia in the winter or not, add this hike to your list!”

agree with Jbuck that it's too hard to pick a
favorite.

I liked the video as well. I would be more
comfortable hiking up and down on the not too steep
trail than I would be trying to ski it.

I love walking around up on top of
Mount Bohemia. I could never ski it,
but I always enjoy walking around up
there.
