We’re going to the beach for an evening with Kevin Dunham. Sand Point Beach is located four miles northeast of Munising on Sand Point Road. The evening Kevin was there, he had the place to himself, but come warmer summer days, this is a popular place for tourists and residents. It’s also a great place to watch the sun set, as you can see in Kevin’s bottom photo. Sand Point Beach is within the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and back in 2007, the Weather Channel named it one of the “Top Five Summer Beaches in America”.

So not only is this a great place to watch sunsets, but if you turn the volume up on Kevin’s video, you’ll be treated to the great sounds there, too...peepers and the lapping of the waves on the shore. Seems like the perfect way to end any day.
