Nancy Haun is at it again, bringing the trains to us right here on the Pasty Cam. She was on the L’Anse Hill ready to capture the Canadian National coming around the bend and then crossing over the Iron Bridge, Nancy said she doesn’t normally hear the train horn when she’s next to the rapidly flowing Dault’s Creek, but this day she did hear it and knew by the number of times it sounded that it was crossing US41. So she headed to the curve on the L’Anse Hill and got into position. Nancy loves the trains and said this about her passion: “The sounds, the smells, the vibrating ground as the train rolls by, these are some of the reasons as well as the visuals of the train that I choose to be as close as safely possible to the train when taking video and photos. I want to be a part of the whole train experience!”
We get to hear the sounds in Nancy’s video. She says this was “Another day in L'Anse and another Dault's Creek Crossing!”

Nice going, Nancy!!!
The video was very
interesting. I think
that maybe you missed
your calling as an
Engineer.
But, what was your
loco motive?

Very cool. First thing I thought of
was, "over the river and through the
woods". I don't know why, but it's
what I thought of. I always love
pictures of trains.
