It honestly is so nice to see photos like these from Stacey Flood’s kayaking adventure last week... mainly because the snow and ice is all gone. Nice to see the Keweenaw looking like Spring and heading on into summer soon. Stacey was on this adventure last week with a friend and they spotted a few birds enjoying the scenery, too. In her first photo, that’s a Kingfisher and it actually has a fish it snagged in its mouth! I really like the next photo with the Seagull perched atop that rock cropping...it looks like it’s posing there just for the photo. And then the Canada Goose, it’s so nice to see and hear them honking around the Keweenaw again!
We join Visit Keweenaw for a look at the Copper Country Trail National Byway. Maybe this would make a great Spring road trip!
