E. Neil Harri captured the American Century, sailing on Lake Superior as it was passing Cat Harbor this past week. It must be great to be out there when the Big Lake is calm like this, with just smooth sailing and not a wave in sight. Days like this I could be a sailor, but the rough water days, no thank you.
Speaking of sailing on Superior... boats are arriving at Isle Royale National Park, Mott Island again. Thanks to Don Afman, known here on the Pasty Cam as “D.A.Midwested”, we have a look at a time-lapse from the Isle Royale webacm of the boat traffic, including the Ranger III unloading and even a nighttime look at her all lit up. That means the first load of supplies have arrived and the Island is getting ready for summer visitors.

Hi
The first picture made me think of a summer beach;
I'm glad to see you guys are snow-free.
Are the off-shore rocks natural? The straight
parallel lines made me wonder.

Beautiful pictures. I love freighter
pictures. It's so nice to see sand
instead of snow.
