It’s Spring, it’s Spring, Crocuses are blooming, it must be Spring in Pastyland! Bob Gilreath snapped today’s first photo of these beautiful purple Crocuses and declared that there is hope for Spring yet. And I would have to agree with Bob, because on my walk one day last week, I spotted this little arrangement of colorful crocuses in my neighbor’s yard and got in closer for a look. Those yellow ones really stood out, along with the white ones, too, but purple/white ones are just so delicately pretty. How wonderful it is to see some color popping up as the snow continues to melt. The next day on my walk, I was looking forward to seeing the colors again, but either a bunny or the deer must have eaten those pretty blooms, as they were all gone. I was thankful for having seen them the day before and glad that I had stopped to snap a few photos of them. Here today, gone tomorrow!

A fun video today, we have 11 optical illusions, the kind that hide several images within one. According to the video, whatever you see first in the photo will indicate what type of personality you have. The lead-in says: “You might see one thing in the image, yet someone else will try to convince you that it’s another. And that’s exactly why optical illusions can be like a personality test. Do you wanna know yourself on a whole new level? Then watch our new video! The test is pretty simple. As soon as you see the image, make note of what popped out at you first. Depending on what you saw immediately, you’ll get a description of some attribute to your personality. Here we go!” Check it out and see how close it comes to your personality in real life.

April showers bring May
flowers. What do May
flowers bring???

Pilgrims!

The video was
traumatizing because
it proved that I have no
personally whatsoever.

How wonderful to see spring flowers.
My tulips are up, but they've not
bloomed yet. It's a good spring for me
to be laid up. I don't even want to go
outside. We still have a pile of snow
in our back yard. When will it end?

Happy Saturday, all.

Crocuses...oh yippee!! How incredible. Such a
wallop of pure beauty in mucky stuff....Good things
are coming...

So, what if you see both things before the guy
starts talking!! Winner, winner, chicken dinner!

Oops…personality, even.

And Donna, sounds like
it’s time to call:
1 (800)
GamblersAnonymous :-)

By Donna (Donna) on Saturday, May 3, 2025 - 12:53 pm:

LOL....oh Alex...that doesn't happen. Even when I
lived near a (place where you gamble..pasty won't
print the word) I only went for the free birthday
dinner. lol I always said "If I go to the (place
where you gamble), I may as well walk in, give my
money to the first Native I see and turn around and
walk out." Luck is not my buddy.

By Alex - UP-Goldwinger (Alex) on Saturday, May 3, 2025 - 05:52 pm:

I was just kidding anyway,
Donna. I know you’re more
level headed than to get
mixed up in something like
that.

May the Fourth be with you.

(I just had to)

By Kathyrn Laughlin (Kathyl) on Sunday, May 4, 2025 - 07:10 pm:

Hi
Donna & Alex, I never wanted to go gambling at a
gaming establishment because I felt that I worked to
hard to get my money. I didn't want to chance losing
any. Back when lotto tickets were only a dollar, I'd
buy one when work was especially exasperating
(instead of updating my resume). But only one
ticket.

Donna, I like the first trilogy, though I haven't
seen it in a while.

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Sunday, May 4, 2025 - 11:18 pm:

Kathryn, same. I do not now and have
never gambled at any gambling
establishment. I figured if I couldn't
afford to lose, then I couldn't afford
to win either. So I didn't play.
