Snow doesn’t stop Cathy McKenzie, in fact she said she loves the first snowfall, although she added that she’s not quite ready for full on winter yet. I’m right there with you on that one, Cathy! She got together with her friend, Marcy and they headed out for a hike, starting at Seneca Lake in the Ahmeek area. Beautiful scenes for sure and there was no fighting over the picnic table that day, either. My favorite shots though, are the last two. I love the leaves on top of the new fallen snow and the colorful leaf just stuck in the snow, outstanding... that would make a great canvas to hang on the wall.

NOTE: I’m guessing that most of this snow has melted by now, at least it has here in Lake Linden. Don’t fret though, there’s more where that came from and it will be here to stay before you know it.

This time of year it’s a little sketchy to be out on Lake Superior. The Woodsy Introverts head to the Keweenaw Peninsula shoreline of the Big Lake, for a look at several of the Majestic Giant freighters passing by each other as they navigate the waters of Lake Superior.

It's all good. Way cool pics. I love the leaves on
top of the snow. And the stuck one is a gorgeous
