Ok, Ok, I know it’s Spring, but we just had another bout with winter here UP North, last week. This one not so bad in the Keweenaw, with off and on freezing rain, then snow, minus the strong winds and accumulations of heavy ice or the amount of snow that had been predicted. It’s after back to back storms that Judy Byykkonen’s “girls” get antsy and need to get outside and run. Judy has a few different spots that she takes them to so they can get their exercise and today’s photos were taken in one that’s not too far from her house, so they can walk there besides. I’m not sure, but I think this might be where Laurium “dumps” the snow they remove from the streets with the snowblower and dump trucks. It makes for some nice hills for the dogs to play on, too, like Zelda in the photo atop the snow pile.

It’s also quite the artistic place with the new snow, decorating the old snow like frosting on a cake. Layers of different deposits of snow, ribboned together. Snow Art...it’s time for you to melt away!

The antics of Zelda, Minnie and Giselle running around in today’s video are just too fun. They’re lucky they have such a good person, like Judy who makes sure their need to get out there and romp, is met like this.

I LOVE dogs and snow.

Speaking of snow..I do like the fresh white instead
of the filth. We need new snow to help make the old
stuff go away. It's all good. One more big one
coming. That always happens in April!

So much fun watching Judy's dogs play. It
really is nice to see the clean white snow
covering the dirt snowbanks. Spring is the
worst. It's just so dirty. So, thanks for
sharing the clean stuff.
