Sierra McLeod Bishop went on a snowshoeing adventure with a view this past weekend. She said they started out at the Quincy Mine Association trail off of Mason Ave. in East Hancock, which zigzags up the hill near the tram tracks and was a tough hike up. That’s where she took to first photo from the top of the Tram Hill. Sierra said they then snowshoed across the ridge toward the top of the ski hill and snapped the bottom photo, between the Tram Hill and Mont Ripley. Sounds like a good workout, with the reward of some outstanding views below.

Today’s video comes from Trail Genius and features a birds eye view of the main trail head of the Michigan Tech Trails and part of the MTU campus. You can even see Mont Ripley Ski hill in the distance across the canal.
