We sure have had a number of nice sunny days lately. Made it nice for Barbara Bouwkamp, her hubby and their dog Parker to take a walk on the beach, just like it was summer, except for the winter boots, hats and gloves. What a wonderful reprieve from cold winter winds and blowing snow. We know it won’t last, but we’ll take all the bonus days we can get. It makes the dreary, gray days tolerable.

Meanwhile on Lake Superior’s opposite shore, we have a video from Cedar Bay-UP Michigan, showing us what the Big Lake is up to at McLain State Park. From what I hear, there were plenty of cars out there this day, but everyone was spread out in different parts of the Park, so it made for a peaceful day UP North.

Anyone recall film cameras and having to use red or blue light filters to take blue sky / snow photos in the AM or PM?

Digital cameras are much more forgiving.
