Nancy Haun was definitely in the right place, at the right time this past week. Here’s the account of her capturing these photos:
While trying to get a good photo of the headwaters of the Peshekee above the Haypress Dam I heard Jim yell out to me - Holy Wah it's an Otter with a fish! I didn't know there were any fish this large in here! If you know where 4 beers corner is - this is between the bridge and the Haypress Dam. There won't be many fish left if this guy and probably more are active here! It was fun watching him tho!
What a great photo opportunity this was, as it’s something you don’t see everyday!
We get to watch some river otters playing and sliding on ice in today’s video. I wonder if Nancy’s otter and friends enjoy some sliding around on the ice when no one is watching?
