We come to the end of a very difficult month for the USA and the entire world. Again we pause to remember some who passed on, folks we knew and will never forget:

Debra “Debbie” Beiring
Dean Cote
William “Bill” Fezzey
John Hosang
Rev. Rodney Johnson
Priscilla Monette
Alvin “Al” Streder
Servicemen and women who gave all

On a personal note, Al Streder was a seasonal neighbor in Eagle River, always a pleasure to catch up with each summer as his family migrated from Texas... looking forward now to catching up with him on the other side.

Another dear friend among this month's honorees whom I'm confident of seeing again: Pastor Rodney Johnson. Rod was the chairman of the board during my years at Stillwaters in Calumet, the years during which Pasty Central and Pasty.NET were born. Featured fifteen years ago on this day - as Rod and Dolly were helping Stillwaters navigate the changes in State regulations that led to closure of Homes for the Aged - the lovely sunburst you see above was photographed by Sharon Smith (A View From The Field) whom we thank for being able to share again today.

Stay safe. Have a good week :o)

So much violence right now out here in
Minnesota. Minneapolis/St Paul have been
burning and vandalized. So scary. Then
there's the COVID virus. Prayers going out to
the people listed above and their families who
are in mourning, as well as all of the families
affected by the virus and the violence in the
state of Minnesota. Good bless. Beautiful
picture.

I second that, Deb...be safe.
Condolences to all.
