After a long day delivering mail on snow-covered country roads, Beth Jukuri likes to unwind in the outdoors. She’s been teaching her young granddaughter all the in’s and out’s of cross country skiing this winter. This is one lucky little lady, getting out there in all seasons, learning to love being outside either kayaking, biking, hiking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, you name it, Beth’s granddaughter is up for any adventure with Grandma. Beth is also quite lucky that she has a little one that’s raring to go on any adventure Grandma suggests. When the two of them set their mind to getting outdoors, nothing can stop them. What a special bond they share, not to mention the laughs and smiles along the way.

We’re checking out the winter sports that are available in Delta County, the Escanaba area in today’s video. So much to do and plenty of time with a couple months of winter still ahead of us.
